Hoot Hoot! Welcome to my favorite, er, PAD character. Like many before me, I sleep in a who-stack! I am Errol that I am, and a spiffy one at that heheh!
To business then, Ronove. Ronove is a particularly wild guitar player, and when he comes out into the woods, he is anything but quiet. He is anything but respectful, and generally wakes all of us owls out of our (hoot) sleep.
Notwithstanding, I would normally cast my vote for one of two PADs, The hair brained owl Aemon, or the weather beaten Chrono turtle, lord of His Turtleness, whoo!
However, I have decided, this year to cast my vote for the bombastic guitar player.
Who, I mean Why?
Simple my friend, I used him to beat a dungeon that my famous water team could not. That's right! Being a 6 star meant he had a 3 times attack boost in this dungeon! Also, He has damage reduction, and can build up to a 100 times attack easy! That means hitting enemies for 300 times attack! Not too bad. I also have a decent team for him - Protective Star angel (heals, fire and water typing), Odin (recovery, green, light, auto heal), Perseus, (not the best with Star angel, but heal is important), and Star Angel Ruel (purple typing really).
Not too bad, and Ronove can hit for a freight train - just not sure who best to put on the team. . . hmmm, oh well, hoot! Still a fun beginning!

Revered Monkey King, Sun Wukong
The monkey King! Simply heaps of scrolls! He has been every where, and where he hasn't been, stories put him there anyway.
The king of jest, and the one with the golden rod. He is a fun red suited amulet decorated ponytailed monkey!
Let's see, decent awakenings so far, although he has yet another evolution coming.

Now a days, the skill block is necessary, the 2 skill boosts are nice, the time extend always helps and the bind recovery is a nice get for your potentially bound leaders. Good all around, and kind of shores up any weaknesses in a glass cannon team. His 2 rows synergism well with myr, mono and dual teams.
Many teams (sumire, Myr, etc) have either a 501e, or a heart cross. in that regard, his skill is BOSS! Changes water orbes to light and dark to heal -> enhance heal.
He has good attack, high hp, and moderate recovery. He is God Physical so He synergizes well with type teams.
The bad:
No TPAs
No good leader skill
Double Yellow (a different sub typing would have been nice)
Thankfully, his evolution helps out a ton!
He gets wings for his ears, puts his rod in his left hand, and smiles! He also gets a third skill boost, which is uncommon, and a TPA!!
This makes him more versatile (if possible), and also helps your glass cannon teams out. He would work well on a pollux team. He also works well with 501e teams and heart cross teams. His 3 skill boosts get you up and running quicker, and that means you can afford to have fewer other characters who give you skill boosts. The machine cards for example, often have unbalanced awakenings, and you can be left short in areas if you are not careful.
Oh, and he becomes a healer/physical/god. In other words, as balanced as you get, with high recovery, high hp, and moderate attack.

The long lost art of a fish killer
Let me see here, Ah yess. The old hedgehog sat down near a large keg of last years apple pie pumkin cordial. He smiled at the young ones, wide eyed and licking their lips.
Ahem, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to sample some of this cordial while we waited for lunch. Seasons poured a generous helping of the cold cordial to each of his dibbuns. They were a handsome bunch he thought, with two brawny otters, cute squirrels and adorable moles.
Now, let's begin our story. Seasons blew off the cover of a dusty volume entitled 'Durga', and her misconceptions on being a leaf eater.
Durga wasn't always a feirce fish killer. She was once a dibbun like you - who had only a few strengths. One of them was sight, for she could see in the dark like no other creature alive. That was how she spotted traps. She dodged many a vermin attack, and could meld into the forest as well as any mouse. However, she eventually braved the demons of her homeland, and even begin to dress like them, for protection. Soon, she acquired a twopronged harpoon and.
. . .'That was when she started slayin alls the fishes!" Seasons smiled. "No verbank', you see, was not well known. And she was not yet a leader.
"Awwwww,"
Anyway, she began to gather a tribe of warrior mice around her, when other battles sprung up over the known forest. the mice ran hither and thither, and Durga was left alone with nothing but her harpoon. However, seasons looked on with kindness, and eventually Durga found another two pronged harpoon, and became a feirce warrior. As she did so, mice came flocking back to her. She gained a powerful leader skill that could withstand up to 7.5 enemies at once! With twin harpoons, she could flail about and take many vermin lives at once. Her ability allowed her the deadly bloodwrath, over 2 times attack boost, but at a cost. She would be reduced to no defense. However, that didn't matter because she trained her warrior mice to heal her at such times.
And as they say, the golden days for durga are upon us!!

The White Ghost
The brothers were born friendless in a dark mountain, deep in the earth. Baby Ilm with his long bushy tail, and the ghastly Zuoh, who was born with a scar. The brothers learned to keep warm near the eternal embers of their empty home. Like most brothers, they fought tooth and nail until eventually, Zuoh drove Ilm out of the mountain.
Driven from the only place he knew, Ilm vowed to find another mountain. But once he was outside, he saw trees, and forests and grasslands. He couldn't bear the dark, and spent as much time outside in the daylight as he could. During the winter, Ilm kept warm with his long white hair. He became a dreamer, and a lover of books. During the summer months, when it grew too hot, Ilm would travel from village to village, pausing to look at books. Ilm read many sorcery books, and at one point during adolescance, even bought a pair of glasses. The outsider saw just a plain bouncing white puff ball. But inside, Ilm was tired of losing fights. He was studying sorcery. Ilm began learning how to summon the power of fire and light . He learned the secret to staying awake so he would never have to close his eyes. And he learned to wait, and to practice. As he grew older, he began developing wings. He became obsessed with the sun and learned Grimoire Sphere, a powerful attack that turned the battlefield into Fire, and Light. He wore magical bracelets for enhancers, and conjured up many a spell book. But in the fall and spring, he still flounced along in the grassfields, the happiest deadliest Afghan you could dream of.
Zuoh never left the mountain. He found the Earth Shaker, and drove him from the mountain. He fought demons and won. He grew wings of darkness, and became a dragon killer. He called upon Darkness, Wood and Fire. He fashoined his own sword from the teeth of his enemies. He lost an eye defeating the mountain itself, and used black magic to re-attach it to his sword. When the mountain finally grew too small, Zuoh left the mountain, seeking another. Every so often, the demon pauses, and remembers his brother. When he does, he calls with all of his might - 'Come, let us battle the world together! Have you become strong?
And Ilm would hear, and sometimes respond with a Sphere of Fire, but sometimes, Ilm was lost in the grasses, rolling to and fro, unsuspecting that he was being watched by the She Earth Phantom, who had taken a particular interest in Ilm as of late.

Yawn! Happy seasons, from nap, er ahem - happy nap to all and to all a merry christmas!
Ok, back at it. Let's take a look at some new purchases, and ideas. I feel like fire! Fire, fire everywhere, at least, that's how I feel after Krishna.
Er, Who is Krishna? Only the greatest, handsomest bravest gini to walk along mother nature's blue roof! Triple evolved, triple type stylings, and a cute art to boot!
Let's begin with leader skill - triple bonuses!~ That's something you don't see every day:
1.5 times bonus to ALL stats to fire!
1.5 Attack
1.5 HP
1.5 Recovery (don't underestimate this one folks)
3 Times attack with 2 fire combos (that's any fire combos, works with tpa teams and row teams guys).
That's 20.25 times attack with double Krishnas!
Plus, did we mention a bonus for 3 times combos? We didn't? Here it is - a whopping 45 times attack for dual Krishnas! Plus 2.25 times hp, 2.25 times Recovery (don't underestimate this folks).
So, what else we got? 5 fire pluses! extra time booster, skill boost, skill block and a row. Nice.
4000 HP! (2.25 times boost) = 10,000 hp! for this one dude.
1800 Attack - nice
377 recovery - actually really impressive!!!
Skill? He's got skills! 6 turn cool down for 2 extra fire orbs, plus likely to appear for 3 more turns. Lot's of fire!!!
Result? What more could you want - oh very well. He is Mantastic's new toy, beat several ENDGAME legendary thingamabobs!
What does he go with? ANYTHING FIRE! Get out your leilans, your Sanadas, your Urds, Rozuels, Set's, Horus's, Minerva's, Belials, Dino Riders, Dust off your shotel's, Even chester goes well!
